Lister Star Horse Clipper – Common Questions

Common Questions:
MY CLIPPER IS NOT TURNING ON
Most commonly, this is a result of the reset popping out. If this happens, the clipper will not turn back on until it has been pushed back in.
To fix this, use a pointed object, such as the end of the cleaning brush, to press the button back in, listening out for a “click” sound.
If the issue continues, make sure the clipper is plugged in and try again. Again, if the issue persists get in touch with our customer support team who will be able to run through troubleshooting tips with you. customer.services@wahl.co.uk

WHERE IS THE RESET BUTTON?
The reset button is located at the back end of the handle, beneath the mains cable.

THE MOTOR HAS BLOWN
If the motor has blown, the unit will have to be sent to a repair centre.
To prevent the issue from re-occurring, ensure that you are:
- Oiling regularly every 5-10 minutes with R15 Clipper Oil
- Setting the tension correctly, 1.5 turns back
- Keeping the clipper and filter clean
- Using the correct blade type for the application
