1: The Motor
The Black Magic Clip’s motor has been upgraded so that it can provide 6500 RPMs versus the standard cordless which provides 5500 RPMs.
What does this mean? In short, it means that the motor moves quicker and spins the motor 1000 times more than the standard cordless magic clip. This then moves the blade faster to help cut through hair even quicker. Perfect when you’re cutting clients hair all day and need to work quicker.
2: Longer Lasting, Quicker Charging
The new Black Magic Clip has an updated lithium battery that helps it store power and release it slower. Meaning you can stay clipping without having to swap over clippers constantly. What this means is that the Black Magic Clip is only charging for 60 minutes versus the standard Magic Clip which takes double the time at 120 minutes! You demanded we make the charge time shorter and we delivered.
Not only that, but we managed to squeeze even more life into the battery, giving you 100 minutes of runtime versus the standard Magic Clip which goes for 90 minutes on a full charge.
3: Titanium, Diamond Coated Blades
Barbers asked us for a blade that gave a crisp cut that gave a sharper finish, without compromise on the life of the blade. Having to buy replacement blades can get expensive, so we invested in a higher quality titanium blade, then coated it in a diamond-like surface so that it extends the durability of the blade at the same time as making it cut nicer.
The standard Magic Clip blade is still higher spec than most, but we just wanted to give barbers a piece of kit that really excels at being an all rounder.
