We have an exciting opportunity for a team-oriented, results driven individual to join our busy Service function as Service Technician at our UK head office.

Reporting to the Senior Technician, you will be required to undertake daily operational service tasks to meet customer demand.

This will involve working in service and repair, technical product analysis, compliance and customer returns, but is not restricted to these areas and you may be required you to work in any of the Operations departments.

Wahl in the UK

Wahl UK is a long established and very successful subsidiary of Wahl Clipper Corporation. Our offices are located near the south-east coastal town of Ramsgate, Kent.

Key responsibilities and tasks:

  • Service and repair of products
  • Quality control on incoming goods
  • Technical analysis of our product range
  • Customer returns processing
  • Identify and report non-conforming products and suppliers
  • Work in a safe manner & follow Company Health & Safety rules
  • Liaise with other departments as required to meet customer demand

 

Skills and Experience:

  • An understanding of electronics and ambition to further this knowledge.
  • Experience in any field of electronics or repair and maintenance of electrical product would be an advantage.
  • Diagnostic and fault-finding skills
  • Proficient in basic computer skills
  • Confident with Microsoft Office (Emails, Excel, Word)
  • Able to work within a team
  • Use of electrical testing equipment.

Training will be provided in all the above.
